2007 Summer Powerfest

Texas A&M lifters competed at, helped work, and earned judge-certifications at Tony Cardella and Christy Newman’s 2007 Summer Powerfest. Robert Sheets (2nd year grad) had made a lot of progress this summer and went 7/9 on the day, hitting raw PR’s in every lift. Cort Spellman (A&M Coach) set a new bench PR at 435. In addition, Randy Johnson and Taylor Garret earned their Texas state judge certifications, and Jake Carney and Dustin Witte spotted and loaded.
Thanks to Tony and Christy for putting on a great meet. But even more so, thanks for all the good times this summer! Furthermore, thanks to Daren Cressionnie and Travis Halphen, LSU alums, for coming to the meet and helping Cort as though he were still lifting in a Tiger shirt.
