In high school, Tiffany played basketball and wanted to become stronger, so she started lifting weights. She joined MetroFlex Gym in Arlington, Texas and had the owner, Brian Dobson, train her. After a few months of training, Dobson convinced Tiffany to compete in a local powerlifting meet. She really enjoyed the meet and continued to train and do local meets on the weekend. When Tiffany graduated high school she decided to attend Texas A&M University. She found out there was a powerlifting team and joined the fall of her freshman year. She lifted all four years of college, winning four straight USAPL Collegiate National Champion titles. Tiffany was a member of the Women’s Team 2010 USAPL Collegiate National Champs. Tiffany also made the USA Junior World Team three years in college and competed at the IPF Junior Worlds where she placed 2nd two of those years. Tiffany made the Junior World Team one last time the year after graduating from Texas A&M and won the IPF Junior World Champion title, setting a new world record in the bench press in her weight class. Since then, Tiffany has made the USA Open World Team twice, with her best finish at IPF Open Worlds being fourth. Currently, Tiffany is attending the University of Texas at Arlington, and will graduate in December of 2015 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
