Upholding a tradition of excellence at the Longhorn Open, Texas A&M Lifters dominated the competition again this year! Senior Shay Stone was the lone Aggie woman, and she brought home 1st place in the 123-pound class. In the men’s division, four A&M lifter won the gold, Jonathan Padro (freshman, 148), Quinton Smith (sophomore, 181), Jeff Scaparra (junior, 198), and Lance Ferguson (sophomore, 220). Randy Johnson (freshman, 242) took 2nd and Orrin McLendon (freshman, 220) got 4th.
