2007 USAPL Junior Nationals
Texas A&M lifters made a very impressive showing at 2007 Junior Nationals. The three Aggies who competed won 1st, 2nd, and 5th places in the 18-19 year-old 181-pound class. Dustin Witte took 1st -place honors, set a new national total record of 1543 pounds, and set a new national deadlift record of 633. Taylor Garrett took 2nd place, set a new Texas state bench record of 363, and put up a new personal best total at 1444. Finally, Steven Soulen took 5th place and totaled 1306 at 181, a new personal record.
