2007 Summer Powerfest
 
Texas A&M lifters competed at, helped work, and earned judge-certifications at Tony Cardella and Christy Newman’s 2007 Summer Powerfest.  Robert Sheets (2nd year grad) had made a lot of progress this summer and went 7/9 on the day, hitting raw PR’s in every lift!  Cort Spellman (3rd year grad) benched 435 and took the team record from Randy Johnson.  In addition, Randy Johnson and Taylor Garret earned their Texas state judge certifications, and Jake Carney and Dustin Witte spotted and loaded.
 
Thanks to the following people:
  1. •Tony and Christy for putting on this meet and getting Inzer and Titan to sponsor it with custom gear for all best lifters.  But even more so, thanks for all the good times this summer!
  2. •Daren Cressionnie and Travis Halphen, LSU alums, for coming to the meet and helping me as though I were still lifting in a Tiger shirt.
  3. •Shannon Eliasson for taking care of all sorts of important little stuff--attempts, pictures, video, warm-up help, etc!
